MY OPINIONS
As stated in my disclaimer I am not against the whole sex thing. I am an adult and know the difference between fact and fiction. I know that the guys are all adults and know the difference as well. The stories that are written here and any that are linked from this site do contain sex. If that offends you then I suggest that you do not go any further. Although you should keep an open mind that these are works of fiction, my stories and the authors of any stories linked to this page have the right to do what they want with stories that they create in their own minds. True some of them may be a little risqué, but if you can’t indulge in a fantasy once in awhile, life gets a little crazy. I know that this is old news, but I wanted to explain about the books that were put out by the guys’ ex-girlfriends. I was shocked when I heard about them. I have not wasted my time to look through the books in the store. I have no desire. Anything that I want to learn about the guys I would much rather learn first hand. The excerpts that I read I do not believe and won’t believe until I hear it from the mouths of the Backstreet Boys involved. I learned a long time ago to never believe anything from the press or an ex or whatever. As far as the guys getting married. Hey it had to happen sooner or later. I couldn’t be happier for Brian and Kevin. And for all those people that said they would no longer be fans, that they would change camps and be *NSync fans, go. The guys need fans that are going to support them and the decisions that they make to allow themselves to be happy. If you can’t do that then you are not a fan to begin with. Speaking of *NSync, I don’t have much to say about them. I bought their first album, and thought it was good. Only really liked the songs that were released on the radio. Bought the second one and thought that the best song on it was Bye Bye Bye. The rest I don’t even remember listening to. I think that they have tried their best to copy the Backstreet Boys and failed miserably. I also think that Jive needs to remember who it was that put them on the map as far as the music world goes and that is the Backstreet Boys. I also think that the way they handled the promotion for Millennium and No Strings was wrong. Jive favored one over the other. Up here in Canada we hardly heard anything about Millennium, but No Strings was shoved down our throats. N*Sync practically lived at MTV for a few months, while the Backstreet Boys got nothing. The tour schedule for Canada was beyond appalling. I couldn’t understand when there is only a dozen major cities in Canada why we only got FIVE shows in total (meaning both tours 1999 and 2000), all in the East, and why Germany got two weeks. What about the rest of Canada? I know that some of you may read this and say, yeah well what about our city? When you live in the States, I understand what you mean. But still I am voicing my opinion. I am sure that there has to be a way to do a tour of Canada and hit every province, all the major cities. Why do three shows a night in one city when you can do three shows in three cities and make more fans happy? Like it or not, us as fans can make or break a group. |
